It is a day filled with sun, sand, and the salty spray of the ocean. A sea breeze quietly lulls children to sleep. Parrots perched on the windowsill casually surveying the land. The juice of a fresh mango drips carelessly and no one is in a rush to stop it. It is home at its finest: simple, sunny, timeless, and beautiful. My childhood in South America was infused with this sense of home, surrounded by an intense combination of British and Caribbean/multicultural influences. Inspiration was at the ready in hand carved wood statues, ornate architecture, and the exotic flora and fauna of the tropics.

Inspired by my grandmother (the embodiment of fusion with Scottish-Portuguese heritage), Hammocks & High Tea offers a modern perspective on traditional, global textiles. Our hand crafted collection uses eco friendly fibers and water based, solvent free inks. We believe quality products require quality time to make. That eco can be bold as well as beautiful. And coming home is the best feeling in the world.
